Below we have been recording what we know about the history of the cottage. As we learn more we will update this web page. Stable Cottage was formed from the stables and other parts of the Ship Inn Public House. So most of what we know relates to Ship Inn. We assume that the stables were part of the Ship Inn from the beginning although we have no idea if this is the case.
Apparently there is a map of 1769 showing the Ship Inn but we have yet to see it.

Morrell Little and Jennifer Anne Little on 22 December 2000.
